Red Dragon Rally 2014

I would firstly like to appologise for the lack of posts on here recently, we have had a few electrical gremlins with the car this season but now have overcome to issue and back out for the Red Dragon on Saturday 20th September.

With Patrick Walsh co driving for this event we finished just 28 seconds behind the winner Melvyn Evans and Aled Davies in there Subaru S10 WRC.

This was my first competitive rally in the car in 4 months. The day got off to a great start, loosing just 3 seconds on the first stage before claiming a second back on the rally leader on the second stage. For the rest of the rally we remained close to the pace of the leaders in their more powerful machine.

It was an enjoyable day and it was great to be back in the car and everything worked perfectly. We have spent a great deal of time developing the car over the past few months and it all came together on the day.

We are now looking forward to the next event and seeking additinal backing for Wales Rally GB in November.
