British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association Industry Heros Awards

Sara Williams gets noticed for the BVRLA Industry Heroes Awards
Swapping the rally stage for the red carpet, Sara Williams will be in London Thursday 3rd March to scoop a British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association Industry Heroes award. The award is presented at the annual BVRLA Dinner at the London Hilton on Park Lane, where prominent members of the rental and leasing industry will gather with support on the night provided by Jeremy Paxman and comedian Jimmy McGhie.
Sara has seen her hard work at Brecon Motors Car Rentals noticed by members of the BVRLA, and has therefore been nominated for the prestigious BVRLA Industry Heroes Award. Awarded to 3 candidates every year for displaying exceptional levels of service, all entries are assessed by a team of BVRLA judges to create a shortlist of finalists. The nomination shows that despite her tireless efforts in professional motorsport, those exertions have in no way dampened her enthusiasm for providing a professional service at Brecon Motors MG Dealership in Brecon, Wales.
The BVRLA is the registered trade body for car and commercial vehicle lease and hire companies in the UK. Represented by over 700 member companies incorporating over two million drivers of business vehicles including cars, vans and trucks – the BVRLA supports an industry that contributes an estimated £24.9 billion to the domestic economy. The association lobbies in domestic and EU government to ensure legislation is fair towards its members and also regulates the industry by conducting inspections and setting business standards.
Sara Williams is the British #1 female rally driver, who rose to fame when she became the first female driver to win a rally event outright for 30 years in 2013. Sara has since gone on to take the UK rally scene by storm, claiming further outright victories and finishing the WRC Wales Rally GB 2014. Sara was recently awarded the British Women Racing Driver’s Club Award Elite Goldstars Award at Autosport International 2016 and spent time with the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission in Qatar competing in a cross country rally project. Sara has achieved these successes while also working at the family owned Brecon Motors MG Dealership, supporting the business from a very early age.
It is clear that Sara displays the same levels of commitment in business as she does behind the wheel.
