BRSCC Winter Race at Anglesey Race Circuit 20th November 2016

My first taste of the race circuit – and i really enjoyed it!
It was great to try different disciplines of motorsport
We had a test day on the Saturday at the Circuit, i had alot to learn – New Car, Left hand drive, New circuit, new driving techniques, tyre warming, lines, I had an information overload but learnt so much and really enjoyed the whole experience.
We had qualifying in the morning then one race before lunch, it got off to a good start until the end of the first lap, i spun as the tyres on the rear weren’t warm enough so i dropped back but i was determined i did not want to come last so caught up and past some cars and finished the race.
The next race after lunch i was a bit more aware of my tyres and had a steady first few laps to get heat in the tyres and really happy to finish 9th overall.

Plans are underway for next season where i hope to be competing in some race events in the Clio and to carry on rallying in the Subaru, plans are still to be confirmed but i will keep you updated,
